the sun is setting low
with its misty orange rays
waving down as curtain laces
of a lady with gentle ways
as the woods are dim and grand
the moon with its silvery grace
in wonder of the art i see
and as i wonder, i think of you
and an art which would bring you wonder
of the art with beauty so rare
and as i, you would soon realize
the artist who portraits love so dear
then by and by, as you see another sunset
painted red across the sky
remember, oh remember
you are the best of His art.
Love,
Ruth
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Psalm 8:1,3,4
