i was poring over pictures from my home town....they bring back fresh memories! oh how i long to go back there...how i crave for its fresh air... i miss the sights and the sounds....miss the lovely songs of the birds in the mornings and in the evenings...i miss sitting by the fire with family....and listen to tales of our ancestors. i miss every bit of it...so much that my heart feels like its in my stomach. these pictures bring whirl of emotions... makes me think of my land, filled with flowers and orchids of all types...birds and animals...plants and trees...vegetables and fruits of all kinds, where one is constantly reminded of the love of our Heavenly Father and His precious love and presence in our lives... i thought it'd be nice to share some of the pictures of the land that i love so dear... with y'all.
beautiful night views...
the folk dance....
women go to the forest in groups to collect firewoods...until recent past folks dont use cooking gas... we make fire to cook. the conical baskets these women are carrying are made of bamboo....one can hardly imagine life without bamboos there. there's no end to the uses and utility of bamboos.
this is "reng gan" a place to rest... on the way to the paddy fields...
our orange tree... so precious!
we don't need no refrigerator.... this is how we store meat... we cut them to huge pieces and put them on top of a fireplace.
our folks sure know how to build bridges....:-)
