A ray of hope - its Spring!

It has been gloomy and cold for days on the hills of Kodaikonal in Tamil Nadu. But this fine morning, I decided to brave the cold weather and walk a few miles. Somehow I convinced a few of my colleagues to come along. They did, and they were not disappointed.

We enjoyed the sights and the sounds -birds of all kinds chirping, cow bells from afar, goats bleating... But one thing that captured our attention was the beautiful rays of sunlight peeping through thick cloud. What a sight it was! I wish I had better photography skills....

As we stood and watched I was reminded of Psalm 121:1-2... My heart recited it joyfully, my face couldn't hold back a smile.
I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
No matter how gloomy or dark situations or circumstances may get around us. Somehow, somewhere God has a way to send a ray of hope and help if only we have the eyes to behold, the heart to feel it, the time to stop and acknowledge.

Let not my heart be carried away or be consumed by the chaos and confusions the news channels bring to us. Let my heart learn to behold the beauty of God's love around me. Let it learn to find the time to soak in His love and beauty. Let it learn to trust and hush. Let it have the strength to spread the love.....

May happiness surround you... May your days be beautiful as you are!

Well, since I had been away fro long and have lost touch with my many of my amazing friends, I think some joining a party will be a great idea and way to reconnect... :)
