forgetfulness....

i boiled down a litre of milk into this.....:-) an outcome of being so in love with reading...

ok, i know i owe you an explanation here.... all i did was left the milk to boil for over 2 hours... i had reduced the flame to its minimum and thought to check back in a little while.... but then, off i went from page to page... my mind, my total attention captivated by the lines i was reading... until i heard a kind of popping sound from behind.... my tiny kitchen... it took a few seconds for me to realize that the sound was coming  from my kitchen... my poor milk in the process of transfiguration....:-)

so after i took out what remained from the over boiling and left the pot to wash, ... i texted a few of my good friends what had just happened. the 'uh ohs' and 'oh my gosh' responses are overwhelming! some replied with very helpful tips so this won't happen again in future,... some sent smileys... some sent one liner reprimands... and one of my very good friends, ... who i have come to like (and jokingly call) as my adopted uncle (LOL) has to say... "That shows how irresponsible you are"....  off course i couldn't agree more...:-)

goodness, what has obsession of books done to my system.!!..:-)) whatever it be, now  i'm going to enjoy my what i 'd like to call an egg look-a-like milky pancake.
